Very impressed and have to agree with the high rating. They did take the full hour to get there but it was late and worth it. Here's what I had: Garlic Naan - 3 stars. Average but good enough; they could put some more effort into it. Mint Chutney - 2 stars. I usually love mint chutney but I didn't care for the style they do here. I like the more saucy kind and this was more like julep. Raita - 5+ stars. The best raita I've had! Perfect consistency and mix of veg. Mixed Tandoori Grill - 4 stars. A lot of chicken and not enough lamb but overall good quality. Palak Paneer - 4 stars. Really nice mix of cheese and spinach with the right amount of spice. I've had better but this was good. Chicken Tikki Masala - 4+ stars. One of the better ones I've had and they way they do it will satisfy everyone.

Since East India Grill on La Brea closed, Ive been unable to find Indian food in Hollywood that suits me.

Ive now ordered from the Indian Kitchen twice and both times I have been very satisfied. The meals sit comfortably in my stomach, I dont feel heavy or weighed down. And the food is seasoned well.

Two caveats - Ive only ordered vegetarian entrees & delivery is unkind to naan, its good naan and the toaster over resurrects it, but it did need the time in the toaster. I say this not cause I was disappointed by the bread, its great bread, but it seems like something people might complain about.

Anyway, I wrote this review because the food has twice been so good that I felt obliged to support the restaurant and their chefs! Excellent delivery in Hollywood!!!

Top notch, authentic Indian. My favorite place by far! I always get my fave, the Volcano dish with chicken, and trust me when i tell you it satisfied the craving for eye watering, mouth burning, barely catch your breath spiciness! I also tried some beef dish with onions that was freaking unbelievable! The onions had this roasted flavor and the sauce was also spicy but in a slow, creep up on you kind of way. Man, that might end up becoming my new fave. The only thing I found average is the Naan. As someone else said, they could put more effort into it. The vegetable samosas are satisfactory. Fast delivery, courteous driver, everything packed nice and tight with no leakage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also, their chicken tandoori is also the best I've had, anywhere.

I will definitely order from them again! My food arrived 45 minutes after I ordered it. The Paneer Makhani and the vegetable samosas were delicious! I would say it was a little on the spicy side for being medium spicy. The garlic naan side is large compared to other places I ordered from.

I never write reviews but I felt necessary to do it cause it was literally the tastiest indian food Ive had in LA for a long shot. I love very spicy and they take it seriously with the spicy when requested, so thats a +++. Had their lamb volcano dish which was . No complaints

I order from this place about once a week. Very fast delivery. The mango achar (pickle) is delicious. I've had most vegetarian dishes on the menu and wouldn't hesitate to order any of them again.

Moved here from the East Village and this has been the closest to NYC Indian food I've had in LA. Love this place so much.
